(Licensing and Control of Private
Parking Places for Heavy Vehicles)
(Amendment) Rules 2017

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 8 of the Parking Places Act, the Land Transport Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Transport, makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules are the Parking Places (Licensing and Control of Private Parking Places for Heavy Vehicles) (Amendment) Rules 2017 and come into operation on 20 December 2017.

Amendment of rule 6

2. The Parking Places (Licensing and Control of Private Parking Places for Heavy Vehicles) Rules (R 1) are amended by renumbering rule 6 as paragraph (1) of that rule, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following paragraph:

“(2) Where payment of the fee mentioned in the First Schedule is tendered in a form other than cash and the payment is subsequently dishonoured or otherwise not effected, an additional fee for processing the dishonoured payment of $32.10 (inclusive of GST) is payable.”.
