Education Endowment Scheme (Prescribed Schools) (Amendment) Regulations 2006

In exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph (d) of the definition of "prescribed school" in section 2 (1) and sections 2 (2) and 24 (f) of the Education Endowment Scheme Act, the Minister for Education hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Education Endowment Scheme (Prescribed Schools) (Amendment) Regulations 2006 and shall come into operation on 1st January 2007.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Education Endowment Scheme (Prescribed Schools) Regulations (Rg 1) is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after item (9) under the heading “Institutes of Technical Education”, the following item:

“

(10) NorthLight School

1st January 2007.

”; and

(b)

by deleting the heading “Institutes of Technical Education” and substituting the heading “ Technical Institutes”.
