Government Contracts (Authorisation)
(Amendment) Notification 2024
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 of the Government Contracts Act 1966, the Minister for Finance makes the following Notification:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Notification is the Government Contracts (Authorisation) (Amendment) Notification 2024 and comes into operation on 5 February 2024.
Amendment of First Schedule
2.  In the Government Contracts (Authorisation) Notification 2022 (G.N. No. S 318/2022), in the First Schedule —
(a)in Part 1, in item 3, in the first column, delete “(Information Cluster)”;
(b)in Part 1, in item 3, in the second column, after paragraph (d), insert —
(e)All other contracts not exceeding $1 million.”;
(c)in Part 3, in item 19, in the first column, replace “Head, MINDEF Human Resource Department” with “Director (Human Resource), MINDEF Human Resource Directorate”;
(d)in Part 3, in item 25, in the first column, replace “Head, C4I Manpower and Training Department, SAF C4I” with “Head, Digital and Intelligence Manpower Department, Digital and Intelligence Service”;
(e)in Part 3, in item 26, in the first column, replace “Head of C4I Recruitment Branch, C4I Manpower and Training Department, SAF C4I” with “Head, Digital and Intelligence Recruitment Centre, Digital and Intelligence Service”;

Amendment of Second Schedule
3.  In the Government Contracts (Authorisation) Notification 2022, in the Second Schedule, after item 2, insert —
2A.  The Chief of Government Communications of the Ministry of Communications and Information, where the Ministry of Communications and Information is primarily responsible for the negotiation, management and administration of the service‑wide contract.”.
