Co-operative Societies
(Exemption under Section 97) (Amendment)
Order 2012

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 97 of the Co‑operative Societies Act, Mr Lawrence Wong, Senior Minister of State, charged with the responsibility of the Minister for Culture, Community and Youth, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Co-operative Societies (Exemption under Section 97) (Amendment) Order 2012 and shall come into operation on 31stDecember 2012.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Co-operative Societies (Exemption under Section 97) (No. 5) Order 2012 (G.N. No. S 511/2012) is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after item 6 of Part I, the following item:

“6A.	National Trades Union Congress”;

(b)

by inserting, immediately after item 12 of Part I, the following item:

“12A.

Singapore Labour Foundation”;

(c)

by inserting, immediately before item 1 of Part II, the following item:

“1.	National Trades Union Congress”;

(d)

by renumbering the existing items 1, 2 and 3 of Part II as items 2, 3 and 4, respectively;

(e)

by inserting, immediately after item 17 of Part III, the following item:

“17A.

National Trades Union Congress”; and

(f)

by inserting, immediately after item 34 of Part III, the following item:

“34A.

Singapore Labour Foundation”.
