Estate Agents (Estate Agency Work)
(Amendment) Regulations 2015

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 72 of the Estate Agents Act, the Council for Estate Agencies, with the approval of the Minister for National Development, makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Estate Agents (Estate Agency Work) (Amendment) Regulations 2015 and come into operation on 19 November 2015.

Amendment of Second Schedule

2. The Second Schedule to the Estate Agents (Estate Agency Work) Regulations 2010 (G.N. No. S 644/2010) is amended —

(a)	by inserting the word “and” at the end of paragraph 5(3)(c);
(b)	by deleting the word “; and” at the end of paragraph 5(3)(d) and substituting a full‑stop;
(c)	by deleting sub‑paragraph (e) of paragraph 5(3); and
(d)	by deleting the words “shall retain the originals or keep copies of the following documents for at least 3 years” in paragraph 7(1) and substituting the words “must retain possession of the originals or keep copies of the following documents for at least 5 years”.
