Silver Support Scheme
(Amendment) Regulations 2024
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 20 of the Silver Support Scheme Act 2015, the Minister for Manpower makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Silver Support Scheme (Amendment) Regulations 2024 and come into operation on 15 September 2024.
Amendment of regulation 8
2.  In the Silver Support Scheme Regulations 2016 (G.N. No. S 350/2016), in regulation 8 —
(a)in paragraph (1)(d), replace “correspondence address determined in accordance with rule 24 of the Central Provident Fund Rules (R 3)” with “residential address or other address provided to the Board by the individual and approved by the Board”;
(b)in paragraph (5), in the definition of “nursing home service licensee”, replace the full‑stop at the end with a semi‑colon; and
(c)in paragraph (5), after the definition of “nursing home service licensee”, insert —
“ “residential address” has the meaning given by regulation 2 of the Central Provident Fund (Service of Documents) Regulations 2024 (G.N. No. S 712/2024).”.
