Environmental Public Health Act
Environmental Public Health (Toxic Industrial Waste) (Amendment) Regulations 2006
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 111 of the Environmental Public Health Act, the National Environment Agency, with the approval of the Minister for the Environment and Water Resources, hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Environmental Public Health (Toxic Industrial Waste) (Amendment) Regulations 2006 and shall come into operation on 1st January 2007.
Amendment of regulation 13
2.  Regulation 13 of the Environmental Public Health (Toxic Industrial Waste) Regulations (Rg 11) is amended —
(a)by deleting “$125” in paragraph (6) and substituting “$140”; and
(b)by deleting “$12” in paragraph (7) and substituting “$13.50”.
Miscellaneous amendments
3.  The Environmental Public Health (Toxic Industrial Waste) Regulations are amended by deleting the word “Commissioner” wherever it appears in the following provisions and substituting in each case the word “Director-General”:
Regulations 2(1) (definition of “emergency action plan”), 4 and regulation heading, 6(2), 7, 8, 10, 12(1) and (2), 13(1), (4) and (5), 14(1) and (2), 16(a) and (b), 17(a) and (b), 19(1) and (2), 21(2), 23, 24(2), 27, 28(1) and (2), 31, 34(a) and (c), 35, 37(1) and (2), 38(2), 39(1) and (2) and 40.
