Common Gaming Houses (Singapore Totalisator Board — Exemption) (Amendment) Notification 2008

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24(1) of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Singapore Totalisator Board — Exemption) (Amendment) Notification 2008 and shall come into operation on 12th February 2008.

Amendment of paragraph 2

2. Paragraph 2(2) of the Common Gaming Houses (Singapore Totalisator Board — Exemption) Notification 2004 (G.N. No. S 240/2004) is amended —

(a)	by inserting, at the end of sub-paragraph (a)(ii), the word “and”; and
(b)	by deleting sub-paragraph (iv) of sub-paragraph (a). [G.N. Nos. S 699/2004; S435/2005]
