Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (Scale of Dues, Rates and General Fees) (Amendment No. 2) Notification 2010
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 27(1) and (7) of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Act, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Transport, hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (Scale of Dues, Rates and General Fees) (Amendment No. 2) Notification 2010 and shall come into operation on 1st December 2010.
Amendment of Schedule
2.  Paragraph 4(1) of Part I of the Schedule to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (Scale of Dues, Rates and General Fees) Notification (N 2) is amended —
(a)by inserting, immediately after the words “pleasure craft” in sub-paragraph (c), the words “licensed for private use”; and
(b)by inserting, immediately after sub-paragraph (c), the following sub-paragraphs:
(d) Class III — for a pleasure craft licensed for commercial use that is —
 
$27 per 10 GT or part thereof;
(i) mechanically propelled; and
 
 
(ii) has a carrying capacity of not more than 12 passengers;
 
 
(e) Class IV — for a pleasure craft licensed for commercial use that is —
 
$60 per passenger subject to a minimum charge of $1,200.
(i) mechanically propelled; and
 
 
(ii) has a carrying capacity of more than 12 passengers
 
 
”.
Saving in respect of pleasure craft licensed before 1st December 2010
3.  Where a licence for a pleasure craft has been granted under regulation 6 of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (Pleasure Craft) Regulations (Rg 6) before 1st December 2010 and the licence remains in force immediately before that date, this Notification shall apply to that pleasure craft only with effect from 1st June 2011.
