Government Contracts (Authorisation)
(Amendment No. 3) Notification 2015

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 of the Government Contracts Act, the Minister for Finance makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Government Contracts (Authorisation) (Amendment No. 3) Notification 2015 and comes into operation on 1 December 2015.

Amendment of Part 8 of First Schedule

2. Part 8 of the First Schedule to the Government Contracts (Authorisation) Notification 2015 (G.N. No. S 249/2015) is amended —

(a)

by deleting item 2 and substituting the following item:

“

2.	Deputy Secretary

(a)	Contracts relating to the management and administration of cash and quasi‑government bonds portfolio of the INVEST Fund.

(b)	Tenancy Agreements.

(c)	Lease Agreements.

(d)	Licence Agreements relating to residential and commercial properties.

(e)	Other contracts not exceeding $30 million.

”;

(b)

by deleting item 7 and substituting the following item:

“

7.	Senior Director (Finance & Administration)/ Director (Finance), Finance & Administration Division, MHA

(a)	Contracts relating to the management and administration of the INVEST Fund not exceeding $10 million.

(b)	Contracts relating to the management and administration of cash and quasi-government bonds portfolio of the INVEST Fund.

(c)	Purchase Orders, Works Orders or other authorised instruments of demand not exceeding $1 million, raised under Period Contracts or Framework Agreements.

(d)	Contracts for goods, services and construction services not exceeding $80,000.

(e)	Tenancy Agreements.

(f)	Lease Agreements.

(g)	Licence Agreements relating to residential and commercial properties.

”;

(c)

by deleting the words “Commissioner/Deputy Commissioner/Director, Logistics & Technology, Prisons” in the first column of item 37 and substituting the words “Commissioner/Deputy Commissioner/Chief of Staff/Director, Logistics & Technology, Prisons”; and

(d)

by deleting the words “Chief of Staff/” in the first column of item 38.
