(Validity of Singapore Passport)
Notification 2021
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 8(4) of the Passports Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Notification is the Passports (Validity of Singapore Passport) Notification 2021 and comes into operation on 1 October 2021.
Validity of Singapore passport
2.  The validity period for every Singapore ordinary passport under section 8(1)(b) of the Act is increased to a period not exceeding 10 years for all Singapore ordinary passports issued on or after 1 October 2021.
