(Amendment No. 3) Rules 2024

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 119(9) of the Road Traffic Act 1961, the Land Transport Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Transport, makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules are the Road Traffic (Traffic Signs) (Amendment No. 3) Rules 2024 and come into operation on 1 October 2024.

Amendment of Schedule

2. In the Road Traffic (Traffic Signs) Rules (R 33), in the Schedule, in Part III, after diagram 175(b), insert —

“DIAGRAM 176(a)

This sign indicates that there is a bus lane camera in the vicinity and that vehicles must only be driven or remain on a bus lane when permitted or face the penalty specified in the sign.

DIAGRAM 176(b)

This sign indicates that there is a bus lane camera in the vicinity and that vehicles must only be driven or remain on a bus lane when permitted.

DIAGRAM 177(a)

This sign indicates that there is a parking enforcement camera in the vicinity and that vehicles must only be parked when permitted or face the penalty specified in the sign.

DIAGRAM 177(b)

This sign indicates that there is a parking enforcement camera in the vicinity and that vehicles must only be parked when permitted.”.
