(Amendment) Order 2024

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 8 of the Air Navigation Act 1966, the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Transport, makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order is the Air Navigation (Amendment) Order 2024 and comes into operation on 1 October 2024.

Amendment of paragraph 21

2. In the Air Navigation Order (O 2) (called in this Order the principal Order), in paragraph 21, replace “subject to such conditions and for such period” with “for a period of 6 months and subject to such conditions”.

Amendment of paragraph 87A

3. In the principal Order, in paragraph 87A(5)(a), after “Schedule”, insert “, if any”.

Amendment of Twelfth Schedule

4. In the principal Order, in the Twelfth Schedule —

(a)

in paragraph 12, replace the paragraph heading with —

“Grant or renewal of licences for flight crew and rating therein (Paragraph 20(1), (3) and (4)), and validation of licences (Paragraph 21).”;

(b)

in paragraph 12(1), after “renewal of”, insert “, or the issue of a certificate of validation of”;

(c)

in paragraph 12(2), replace “or for the inclusion or renewal of a rating in such a licence” with “, the inclusion or renewal of a rating in such a licence, or the issue of a certificate of validation of such a licence”;

(d)

in paragraph 12(2)(k)(i) and (ii), after “renewal of”, insert “, or the issue of a certificate of validation of,”;

(e)

delete paragraph 13; and

(f)

in paragraph 20A, replace sub‑paragraph (1) with —

“(1) The fee to be paid for the grant or renewal of an operations permit under paragraph 87A(5) of the Order for the following validity periods is —

(a)	up to one year — $300;
(b)	3 years — $450; and
(c)	5 years — $600.”.
