Children and Young Persons
(Place of Detention) Notification 2019

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 55(1) of the Children and Young Persons Act, the Minister for Social and Family Development makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification is the Children and Young Persons (Place of Detention) Notification 2019 and comes into operation on 15 November 2019.

Place of detention

2. The Minister appoints the Singapore Boys’ Home, 3 Bulim Drive, Singapore 648172, to be a place of detention for the purposes of the Act.

Cancellation

3. The Notification relating to Place of Detention (G.N. No. S 46/1999) is cancelled.
