(Amendment No. 3) Notification 2024

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 27 of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Act 1996, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Transport, makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification is the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (Scale of Dues, Rates and General Fees) (Amendment No. 3) Notification 2024 and comes into operation on 1 October 2024.

New paragraph 4A

2. In the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (Scale of Dues, Rates and General Fees) Notification (N 2), after paragraph 4, insert —

“Temporary partial waiver for certain fees

4A. In respect of the fees specified in the following paragraphs of the Schedule, an amount equivalent to 9% of each fee (exclusive of GST) is waived for the period between 1 October 2024 and 31 December 2025 (both dates inclusive):

(a)	paragraph 10(b)(i) and (ii);
(b)	paragraph 12(a) to (d);
(c)	paragraph 13(f)(i) and (ii), (g)(i) and (ii) and (h)(i) and (ii);
(d)	paragraph 14(a) and (b).”.

Amendment of Schedule

3. In the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (Scale of Dues, Rates and General Fees) Notification, in the Schedule —

(a)

replace the Schedule reference with —

“Paragraphs 3, 4 and 4A”;

(b)

in the following provisions, delete “(inclusive of GST)” wherever it appears:

Paragraph 4(1) and (2)

Paragraph 7(3)

Paragraph 8(2A)

Paragraph 9(1)(a);

(c)

in the following provisions, delete “(inclusive of GST)” wherever it appears:

Paragraph 5(2)(a) and (b) and (3)

Paragraph 9(3)(a)(i), (ii) and (iii) and (c)(i) and (ii)

Paragraph 10(a), (c) and (d)

Paragraph 13(a), (b), (c), (i) and (j);

(d)

in the following provisions, replace “$30” with “$32.70”:

Paragraph 10(b)(i)

Paragraph 13(f)(ii), (g)(i) and (h)(ii);

(e)

in the following provisions, replace “$50” with “$54.50”:

Paragraph 10(b)(ii)

in paragraph 12(b) and (d), replace “$60” with “$65.40”;

(g)

(j)

in paragraph 14(b), replace “$100” with “$109”.
