(Health Promotion Board —
Exemption) (No. 3) Order 2022

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 40 of the Remote Gambling Act 2014, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Order:

Citation

1. This Order is the Remote Gambling (Health Promotion Board — Exemption) (No. 3) Order 2022.

Definitions

2. In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires —

“draw” means the draw to be held as part of the promotion at 3 Second Hospital Avenue, Singapore 168937 from 8.30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on 31 March 2022;

“organiser” means the Health Promotion Board established by section 3 of the Health Promotion Board Act 2001;

“promotion” means the promotion called “Love at First MOVE Challenge with Fave and Swensen’s” that is to be made available from 14 February 2022 to 27 February 2022 (both dates inclusive) on the Healthy 365 mobile application platform maintained by the organiser;

“public accountant” has the meaning given by section 2(1) of the Accountants Act 2004.

Exemptions

3.—(1) The organiser is exempt from sections 11, 13, 15 and 17 of the Act in respect of the promotion and the draw.

(2) The organiser is exempt from sections 13, 15 and 17 of the Act from 7 February 2022 to 13 February 2022 (both dates inclusive) in respect of any prohibited act under any of those sections carried out for the purposes of the promotion and the draw.

(3) The exemption is subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
