(SAFRA National Service Association —
Exemption) (No. 2) Order 2021

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 40 of the Remote Gambling Act 2014, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Order:

Citation

1. This Order is the Remote Gambling (SAFRA National Service Association — Exemption) (No. 2) Order 2021.

Definitions

2. In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires —

“draw” means any draw to be held as part of the promotion at SAFRA Mount Faber, 2 Telok Blangah Way, Singapore 098803 on the following dates:

(a)	16 November 2021;
(b)	6 December 2021;

“organiser” means the SAFRA National Service Association, a society registered under the Societies Act (Cap. 311);

“promotion” means the promotion called “SSBR & AHM 2021: #CaptureTheMoment Social Media Contest” that is to be made available from 20 October 2021 to 28 November 2021 (both dates inclusive) on the Facebook, Instagram and TikTok social media platforms maintained by the organiser and the Ministry of Defence;

“public accountant” has the meaning given by section 2(1) of the Accountants Act (Cap. 2).

Exemption

3.—(1) The organiser is exempt from sections 11, 13, 15 and 17 of the Act in respect of the promotion and the draws.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
