(Chapter 70)
Customs (Duties) (Exemption) (Amendment No. 4) Order 2010
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 13(1) of the Customs Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order may be cited as the Customs (Duties) (Exemption) (Amendment No. 4) Order 2010 and shall come into operation on 1st January 2011.
Amendment of paragraph 2
2.  Paragraph 2(1) of the Customs (Duties) (Exemption) Order (O 5) is amended by deleting the full-stop at the end of the definitions of “registered dentist”, “registered medical practitioner”, “registered pharmacist” and “veterinary surgeon” and substituting a semi-colon, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following definition:
“ “self-balancing cycle” means a one-wheeled or two-wheeled transportation device for use by a single person only, which is designed to maintain its own balance when being ridden or when stationary.”.
Amendment of Schedule
3.  Part I of the Schedule to the Customs (Duties) (Exemption) Order is amended by deleting the words “and “pocket” motor cycles” in the third column of item 35 and substituting the words “, “pocket” motor cycles, powered kick scooters, mobility scooters, all-terrain vehicles (quad bikes) and self-balancing cycles”.
