Customs (Container) (Amendment) Regulations 2004

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 143 of the Customs Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Customs (Container) (Amendment) Regulations 2004 and shall come into operation on 1st January 2005.

Amendment of regulation 11

2. Regulation 11(2) of the Customs (Container) Regulations (Rg 1) is amended —

(a)	by inserting, at the end of sub-paragraph (f)(ii), the word “and”;
(b)	by deleting the word “; and” at the end of sub-paragraph (f)(iii) and substituting a full-stop; and
(c)	by deleting sub-paragraph (iv) of sub-paragraph (f).

Deletion of regulation 12

3. Regulation 12 of the Customs (Container) Regulations is deleted.
