Newspaper and Printing Presses (Exemption) (No. 2) (Amendment) Order 2008

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 44 (1)(b)(ii) of the Newspaper and Printing Presses Act, the Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Newspaper and Printing Presses (Exemption) (No. 2) (Amendment) Order 2008.

(2) Paragraph 2(a) and (f) shall be deemed to have come into operation on 3rd January 2008.

(3) Paragraph 2(b) shall be deemed to have come into operation on 13th August 2007.

(4) Paragraph 2(c) shall be deemed to have come into operation on 25th September 2007.

(5) Paragraph 2(d) shall be deemed to have come into operation on 20th November 2007.

(6) Paragraph 2(e) shall be deemed to have come into operation on 12th December 2007.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Newspaper and Printing Presses (Exemption) (No. 2) Order 2004 (G.N. No. S 507/2004) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “Newsletter Australian International School” in the first column of item 58 and substituting the words “Australian International School Newsletter”;

(b)

by inserting, immediately after item 135, the following item:

(c)

by inserting, immediately after item 136, the following item:

(d)

by inserting, immediately after item 137, the following item:
