Infectious Diseases (COVID-19 — Stay Orders) (Amendment) Regulations 2022 |

Citation and commencement |
1. These Regulations are the Infectious Diseases (COVID‑19 — Stay Orders) (Amendment) Regulations 2022 and come into operation on 6 January 2022. |
Amendment of regulation 2 |
2. Regulation 2(1) of the Infectious Diseases (COVID‑19 — Stay Orders) Regulations 2020 (G.N. No. S 182/2020) (called in these Regulations the principal Regulations) is amended by deleting the definition of “relevant medical certificate” and substituting the following definitions:

Amendment of regulation 3 |
3. Regulation 3(1) of the principal Regulations is amended by deleting the words “respiratory specimen” in sub‑paragraphs (a)(ii)(B) and (aa)(ii)(B) and substituting in each case the words “blood specimen”. |
Amendment of regulation 4 |
4. Regulation 4 of the principal Regulations is amended by inserting, immediately after the words “of the Act” in paragraphs (2A)(a)(i) and (c) and (5)(c), the words “relating to COVID‑19”. |
Saving |
5. These Regulations do not affect any medical certificate issued by a legally qualified medical practitioner before 6 January 2022 for the purposes of the principal Regulations; and that medical certificate continues to have effect under the principal Regulations for the period specified in it as if issued on or after that date. |
