(Exemption) (No. 84)
Notification 2014

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 84) Notification 2014.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)

the “RWS Mix and Match” promotion to be held from 11 December 2014 to 4 January 2015 (both dates inclusive);

(b)

the “RWS Mix and Match Instant Card” games to be held between 1 p.m. and 9 p.m. daily from 12 December 2014 to 4 January 2015 (both dates inclusive) at the following places as part of that promotion:

(i)	the information counter in front of the Casino Royale Bar (Casino B1) of Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd.;
(ii)	the promotion booth at the rotunda in the smoking zone (Casino B1) within the premises of the casino of Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd.;

(c)

the “RWS Christmas Lucky Draw” to be held 3 sessions hourly from 1 a.m. to 3 a.m. on 25 December 2014 at the Casino Royale Bar (Casino B1) of Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. as part of that promotion; and

(d)

the “RWS New Year Lucky Draw” to be held 3 sessions hourly from 1 a.m. to 3 a.m. on 1 January 2015 at the Casino Royale Bar (Casino B1) of Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. as part of that promotion.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
