(Aviation Levy) (Amendment) Order 2022

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 86(1) of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore Act 2009, the Minister for Transport, after consulting the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order is the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (Aviation Levy) (Amendment) Order 2022 and comes into operation on 1 November 2022.

Amendment of paragraph 6

2. In paragraph 6 of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (Aviation Levy) Order 2018 (G.N. No. S 522/2018), replace sub‑paragraph (a) with —

“(a)

if the chargeable flight begins from Changi Airport, whichever of the following as is applicable:

(i)	if the chargeable flight begins anytime in November 2022 — $6.48 multiplied by the total number of chargeable passengers carried on that chargeable flight;
(ii)	if the chargeable flight begins anytime in December 2022 — $7.05 multiplied by the total number of chargeable passengers carried on that chargeable flight;
(iii)	if the chargeable flight begins anytime in January 2023 — $7.34 multiplied by the total number of chargeable passengers carried on that chargeable flight;
(iv)	if the chargeable flight begins anytime in February, March or April 2023 — $7.62 multiplied by the total number of chargeable passengers carried on that chargeable flight;
(v)	if the chargeable flight begins anytime in May 2023 or later — $8 multiplied by the total number of chargeable passengers carried on that chargeable flight; and”.
