Central Provident Fund (Specified Amount for Payment to Proper Claimant) Notification 2010

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 25(4A), 26(4A)(a)(iii) and (4B)(a)(ii)(C), 26A(7)(b)(ii), 26D(2)(b)(ii) and 27L(8) of the Central Provident Fund Act, the Minister for Manpower hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Central Provident Fund (Specified Amount for Payment to Proper Claimant) Notification 2010 and shall come into operation on 1st January 2011.

Amount specified for purposes of section 25(4A) of Act

2. For the purposes of section 25(4A) of the Act, the amount specified shall be $9,000.

Amount specified for purposes of section 26(4A)(a)(iii) and (4B)( a)(ii)(C) of Act

3. For the purposes of section 26(4A)( a)(iii) and (4B)(a)(ii)(C) of the Act, the amount specified shall be $9,000.

Amount specified for purposes of section 26A(7)(b)(ii) of Act

4. For the purposes of section 26A(7)( b)(ii) of the Act, the amount specified shall be $9,000.

Amount specified for purposes of section 26D(2)(b)(ii) of Act

5. For the purposes of section 26D(2)( b)(ii) of the Act, the amount specified shall be $9,000.

Amount specified for purposes of section 27L(8) of Act

6. For the purposes of section 27L(8) of the Act, the amount specified shall be $9,000.

Cancellation

7. The Central Provident Fund (Specified Amount for Payment to Proper Claimant) Notification 2009 (G.N. No. S 374/2009) is cancelled.
