Notification 2014

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 86) Notification 2014.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts the Singapore Turf Club from the provisions of the Act in respect of the “2014 Horse of the Year Online Contest” promotion to be held from 22 December 2014 to 2 January 2015 (both dates inclusive) and the draw to be held on 6 January 2015 at 3 p.m. at the Administration Building of the Singapore Racecourse.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the Singapore Turf Club with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
