(Wiring Work) (Amendment)
Regulations 2024
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 97 of the Telecommunications Act 1999, the Info‑communications Media Development Authority, with the approval of the Minister for Digital Development and Information, makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Telecommunications (Wiring Work) (Amendment) Regulations 2024 and come into operation on 11 November 2024.
Amendment of First Schedule
2.  In the Telecommunications (Wiring Work) Regulations 2024 (G.N. No. S 559/2024), in the First Schedule, in item 1, in the second column —
(a)in paragraph (a), delete “(CoC)”;
(b)in paragraph (e), delete “or” at the end;
(c)in paragraph (f), replace the full-stop at the end with “; or”; and
(d)after paragraph (f), insert —
“(g)The Certificate of Competency for Fibre Optics Cabling Installer conducted by Republic Polytechnic.”.
