(Fees) (Amendment)
Rules 2024
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 42 of the Wholesome Meat and Fish Act 1999, the Minister for Sustainability and the Environment makes the following Rules:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Rules are the Wholesome Meat and Fish (Fees) (Amendment) Rules 2024 and come into operation on 18 November 2024.
Amendment of Schedule
2.  In the Wholesome Meat and Fish (Fees) Rules 2006 (G.N. No. S 459/2006), in the Schedule —
(a)in Part I, in item 2, in the third column, replace “$4.60 per 100 kg or part thereof” with “$300 per permit”;
(b)in Part II, in the Part heading, after “FEES”, insert “AND APPLICATION FEES”;
(c)in Part II, in the first column, in the column heading, after “permit”, insert “, or application for licence”;
(d)in Part II, after item 4, insert —
 
“4A.Application for a licence to operate a slaughter‑house referred to in item 1, 2 or 4
 
Section 13 of the Act
 
$147.20 per application”;
(e)in Part II, in item 8, in the third column, delete the full‑stop at the end; and
(f)in Part II, after item 8, insert —
 
“9.Application for a licence to operate a meat or fish processing establishment referred to in item 6 or 7, or a cold store referred to in item 8
 
Section 13 of the Act
 
$147.20 per application.”.
