(Continental Automotive Singapore Pte Ltd —
Exemption for Use of Vehicle on
Specified Footway) Order 2021
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 142 of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Order:
Citation and period in force
1.—(1)  This Order is the Road Traffic (Continental Automotive Singapore Pte Ltd — Exemption for Use of Vehicle on Specified Footway) Order 2021.
(2)  This Order is in force for the period between 10 November 2021 and 30 April 2022 (both dates inclusive).
Definitions
2.  In this Order —
“specified footway” means any footway of a road that is delineated by a black‑coloured line in the map set out in the Schedule;
“specified motor vehicle” has the meaning given by paragraph 2 of the Road Traffic (Continental Automotive Singapore Pte Ltd — Exemption) Order 2021 (G.N. No. S 297/2021).
Exemption
3.  Rule 28(1) of the Road Traffic Rules (R 20) does not apply to an individual who drives or parks a specified motor vehicle on a specified footway under the conditions mentioned in paragraph 3 of the Road Traffic (Continental Automotive Singapore Pte Ltd — Exemption) Order 2021.
