Bankruptcy (Fees) (Amendment) Rules 2005

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 166 of the Bankruptcy Act, the Minister for Law hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Bankruptcy (Fees) (Amendment) Rules 2005 and shall come into operation on the date of commencement of item (3) in the First Schedule to the Statutes (Miscellaneous Amendments) (No. 2) Act 2005 (Act 42 of 2005).

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Bankruptcy (Fees) Rules (R 3) is amended by deleting the word “petition” in items 1 and 7 in Table A and in item 1 (a) in Table B and substituting in each case the word “application”.
