Customs
(Duties) (Amendment)
Order 2018

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10(1) of the Customs Act, the Minister for Finance makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order is the Customs (Duties) (Amendment) Order 2018 and comes into operation on 19 February 2018 at 5.40 p.m.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. The First Schedule to the Customs (Duties) Order (O 4) is amended —

(a)	by deleting the words “$352.00 per kgm” in column (7) against H.S. Codes 2401.10.10, 2401.10.20, 2401.10.40, 2401.10.50, 2401.10.90, 2401.20.10, 2401.20.20, 2401.20.30, 2401.20.40, 2401.20.50, 2401.20.90, 2401.30.10, 2401.30.90 and 2403.19.20 and substituting in each case the words “$388.00 per kgm”;
(b)	by deleting the words “$388.00 per kgm” in column (7) against H.S. Codes 2402.10.00, 2402.90.10, 2403.11.00, 2403.19.19, 2403.19.90, 2403.91.10, 2403.91.90, 2403.99.30, 2403.99.40 and 2403.99.90 and substituting in each case the words “$427.00 per kgm”;
(c)	by deleting the words “$299.00 per kgm” in column (7) against H.S. Codes 2402.20.10, 2403.19.11 and 2403.99.50 and substituting in each case the words “$329.00 per kgm”; and
(d)	by deleting the words “38.8ȼ for every gm or part thereof of each stick of cigarette” in column (7) against H.S. Codes 2402.20.20, 2402.20.90 and 2402.90.20 and substituting in each case the words “42.7ȼ for every gm or part thereof of each stick of cigarette”.
