Mental Capacity (Public Guardian Fees)
(Amendment) Regulations 2022

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 31(3) and (4) and 46 of the Mental Capacity Act 2008, the Minister for Social and Family Development makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Mental Capacity (Public Guardian Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2022 and come into operation on 14 November 2022.

Replacement of regulation 2

2. Regulation 2 of the Mental Capacity (Public Guardian Fees) Regulations 2010 (G.N. No. S 106/2010) is replaced with —

“Definition

2. In these Regulations, “register” means the register of court orders appointing deputies established and maintained by the Public Guardian under section 31(1)(b) of the Act.”.

Amendment of Schedule

3. In the Schedule to the Mental Capacity (Public Guardian Fees) Regulations 2010, after item 4, insert —

“4A.	For a request for information on a particular lasting power of attorney under regulation 28B of the Mental Capacity Regulations 2010 (G.N. No. S 105/2010)

$20”.
