(Identity Cards)
(Amendment) Rules 2018

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 49 of the Criminal Law (Temporary Provisions) Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules are the Criminal Law (Identity Cards) (Amendment) Rules 2018 and come into operation on 1 January 2019.

Miscellaneous amendments

2. The Criminal Law (Identity Cards) Rules (R 2) are amended by deleting the words “section 30(b)” in the following provisions and substituting in each case the words “section 30(1)(b)”:

Rules 3, 5 and 6.
