Education Endowment Scheme (Awards for Achievement, Good Leadership and Service) (Amendment) Regulations 2005

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24(a) of the Education Endowment Scheme Act, the Minister for Education hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Education Endowment Scheme (Awards for Achievement, Good Leadership and Service) (Amendment) Regulations 2005 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 9th March 2005.

Amendment of regulation 2

2. Regulation 2 of the Education Endowment Scheme (Awards for Achievement, Good Leadership and Service) Regulations (Rg 8) is amended by deleting the word “approved” in the definition of “core co-curricula activities” and substituting the word “recognised”.

Amendment of regulation 5

2. Regulation 5(2) of the Education Endowment Scheme (Awards for Achievement, Good Leadership and Service) Regulations is amended by deleting the word “approved” in paragraph (c) and substituting the word “recognised”.
