Central Provident Fund (Private Medical Insurance Scheme) (Amendment No. 3) Regulations 2005

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 77(1)(k) of the Central Provident Fund Act, the Minister for Manpower, after consulting with the Central Provident Fund Board, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Central Provident Fund (Private Medical Insurance Scheme) (Amendment No. 3) Regulations 2005 and shall come into operation on 1st January 2006.

Amendment of regulation 4

2. Regulation 4 of the Central Provident Fund (Private Medical Insurance Scheme) Regulations 2005 (G.N. No. S 428/2005) is amended by deleting “$660” in paragraphs (2), (3) (e) and (4) and substituting in each case “$800”.

Amendment of regulation 12

3. Regulation 12 of the Central Provident Fund (Private Medical Insurance Scheme) Regulations 2005 is amended by deleting the words “80 years” and substituting the words “85 years”.
