Control of Plants (Import and Transhipment of Fresh Fruits and Vegetables) (Amendment) Rules 2000

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 48 of the Control of Plants Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Control of Plants (Import and Transhipment of Fresh Fruits and Vegetables) (Amendment) Rules 2000 and shall come into operation on 3rd March 2000.

Deletion and substitution of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Control of Plants (Import and Transhipment of Fresh Fruits and Vegetables) Rules (R 1) is deleted and the following Schedule substituted therefor:

“THE SCHEDULE

Rule 14

First column

Second column

1. For the issue or renewal of a licence

$378 per year

2. For the issue of a permit

3. For a certified true copy of a licence or permit

$8.50.”.
