Central Provident Fund (Distribution and Disposal of Shares in Approved Corporation) (Amendment) Rules 2009

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 26(3) and 77(2)(k) of the Central Provident Fund Act, the Central Provident Fund Board hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Central Provident Fund (Distribution and Disposal of Shares in Approved Corporation) (Amendment) Rules 2009 and shall come into operation on 1st March 2009.

Amendment of rule 5

2. Rule 5(1) of the Central Provident Fund (Distribution and Disposal of Shares in Approved Corporation) Rules (R 9) is amended by deleting the words “21 years” in sub-paragraph (a)(iii) and substituting the words “18 years”.
