In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6(6) of the Weights and Measures Act 1975, the Minister for Trade and Industry makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order is the Weights and Measures Act 1975 (Amendment of First Schedule) Order 2022 and comes into operation on 21 November 2022.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. In the First Schedule to the Weights and Measures Act 1975, in Part 5, replace “Metric ton” with “Tonne”.
