Resource Sustainability Act 2019
(Commencement) Notification 2019

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 1 of the Resource Sustainability Act 2019, the Minister for the Environment and Water Resources makes the following Notification:

1. This Notification is the Resource Sustainability Act 2019 (Commencement) Notification 2019.

2. The Resource Sustainability Act 2019, except sections 12 to 17 and Parts 4 and 5, comes into operation on 1 January 2020.

3. Part 4 of the Resource Sustainability Act 2019 comes into operation on 1 July 2020.

4. Sections 12 to 17 of the Resource Sustainability Act 2019 come into operation on 1 July 2021.
