(Ministerial Responsibility)
(Amendment No. 8) Notification 2022

In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 30 of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, exercising the functions conferred on the Prime Minister, makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification is the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Ministerial Responsibility) (Amendment No. 8) Notification 2022 and comes into operation on 25 November 2022.

Amendment of Eleventh Schedule

2. In the Eleventh Schedule to the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Ministerial Responsibility) Notification 2020 (G.N. No. S 723/2020) —

(a)

under the heading “Departments”, after item 10, insert —

“11. Public Defender’s Office”; and

(b)

under the heading “Subjects”, in item 10, after paragraph (2), insert —

“(3) Public Defenders Act 2022”.
