(Amendment No. 2) Order 2024

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 8 of the Air Navigation Act 1966, the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Transport, makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order is the Air Navigation (Amendment No. 2) Order 2024 and comes into operation on 28 November 2024.

Amendment of Eleventh Schedule

2. In the Air Navigation Order (O 2), in the Eleventh Schedule, in Part I —

(a)

in Chapter 1, replace the definition of “Current flight plan” with —

“Current flight plan. The flight plan that reflects changes (if any) to the filed flight plan brought about by subsequent air traffic control clearances.”;

(b)

in Chapter 1, replace the definition of “Filed flight plan” with —

“Filed flight plan. The latest flight plan, as filed by the pilot, an operator or a designated representative of the operator, for use by air traffic services units.”;

(c)

in Chapter 1, in the definition of “Flight plan”, delete “provided to air traffic services units,”;

(d)

in Chapter 1, delete the definition of “Repetitive flight plan (RPL)”; and

(e)

in Chapter 3, replace paragraph 3.3.1.3 with —

“3.3.1.3.Unless otherwise prescribed by the appropriate ATS authority, a flight plan shall be submitted, before departure, to an air traffic services reporting office or transmitted, during flight, to the appropriate air traffic services unit or air-ground control radio station.”.
