Control of Plants (Plant Importation) (Amendment) Rules 2000

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 48 of the Control of Plants Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Control of Plants (Plant Importation) (Amendment) Rules 2000 and shall come into operation on 3rd March 2000.

Amendment of Fifth Schedule

2. The Fifth Schedule to the Control of Plants (Plant Importation) Rules (R 4, 2000 Ed.) is amended —

(a)	by deleting “$44” in item (2) and substituting “$47”;
(b)	by deleting “$60” in item (4)(a) and substituting “$63”; and
(c)	by deleting “$36” in item (5)(a) and substituting “$38”.
