Road Traffic (Temporary Private Hire Cars) (Exemption) Order 2002

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 142 of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Transport hereby makes the following Order:

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Temporary Private Hire Cars) (Exemption) Order 2002.

Exemption

2. Section 101 of the Act shall not apply to any of the vehicles bearing the registration numbers set out in the Schedule which —

(a)	is temporarily used as a private hire car from 20th February 2002 to 6th March 2002 (both dates inclusive) by General Cars Pte Ltd for the purpose of the Asian Aerospace Exhibition 2002;
(b)	has valid insurance cover for its use as a private hire car when it is so used; and
(c)	displays a label issued by the Registrar in such manner as he may require.
