Control of Plants (Analysis and Inspection Service Fees) (Amendment) Rules 2000
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 48 of the Control of Plants Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Rules:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Rules may be cited as the Control of Plants (Analysis and Inspection Service Fees) (Amendment) Rules 2000 and shall come into operation on 3rd March 2000.
Deletion and substitution of Schedule
2.  The Schedule to the Control of Plants (Analysis and Inspection Service Fees) Rules (R 8, 2000 Ed.) is deleted and the following Schedule substituted therefor:

(j) testing of Staphylococcal Enterotoxin in food by Enzyme Immuno-Assay (EIA) Screening
 
$165 per 5 samples or part thereof
2. Inspection of fresh fruits and vegetables:
 
 
(a) professional service fee
 
(i) $63 per hour or part thereof
 
 
(ii) $133 per hour or part thereof (outside office hours or on an urgent basis)
(b) technical service fee
 
(i) $38 per hour or part thereof
 
 
(ii) $80 per hour or part thereof (outside office hours or on an urgent basis).”.
