(Late Lodgment Penalties) (Amendment)
Regulations 2024
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 449 of the Insolvency, Restructuring and Dissolution Act 2018, the Minister for Law makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Insolvency, Restructuring and Dissolution (Late Lodgment Penalties) (Amendment) Regulations 2024 and come into operation on 9 December 2024.
Amendment of regulation 3
2.  In the Insolvency, Restructuring and Dissolution (Late Lodgment Penalties) Regulations 2020 (G.N. No. S 609/2020), in regulation 3, replace paragraph (3) with —
(3)  For the purposes of paragraphs (1) and (2), the appropriate penalty for late filing or lodgment is the amount set out in the second column of the following table corresponding to the length of default (calculated in terms of months after the date on which the specified document was required to be filed or lodged) set out in the first column of the table:

Transitional provision
3.  Despite these Regulations, regulation 3(3) of the Insolvency, Restructuring and Dissolution (Late Lodgment Penalties) Regulations 2020 as in force immediately before 9 December 2024 continues to apply to the late filing or lodgment of a specified document, where that specified document was required to be filed or lodged before that date.
