Animals and Birds Act
(Chapter 7)
Animals and Birds (Quarantine) (Amendment) Rules 1999
In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 65 and 70 of the Animals and Birds Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Rules:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Rules may be cited as the Animals and Birds (Quarantine) (Amendment) Rules 1999 and shall come into operation on 10th March 1999.
Amendment of Schedule
2.  The Schedule to the Animals and Birds (Quarantine) Rules (R 6) is amended by inserting, immediately after item (9), the following item:
“
(9A) Fee for inspection and vaccination of dogs and cats against rabies
$65 per animal.
”.
