Fisheries (Import, Export and Marketing) (Amendment) Rules 2000

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 of the Fisheries Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Fisheries (Import, Export and Marketing) (Amendment) Rules 2000 and shall come into operation on 3rd March 2000.

Deletion and substitution of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Fisheries (Import, Export and Marketing) Rules (R 1) is deleted and the following Schedule substituted therefor:

“THE SCHEDULE

Rules 8(2), 10(2) and 11(3)

1. For a licence to import, export or tranship ornamental fish

$350 per annum

2. For a certified true copy of a document

$8.50

3. For inspection and health certification of fish:

(a) inspection of fish

(i) professional service fee:

(A) $63 per hour or part thereof

(B) $133 per hour or part thereof (outside office hours or on an urgent basis)

(ii) technical service fee:

(A) $38 per hour or part thereof

(B) $80 per hour or part thereof (outside office hours or on an urgent basis)

(b) issue of health certificate

$14 per certificate

4. For membership in the Accredited Ornamental Fish Exporter Scheme

$940 per annum

5. For the approval of inward, outward or transhipment declarations (Permit fee)

$3 per declaration

6. For the registration of Dragon Fish

$35 per fish

7. For determining the presence of Spring Viraemia of Carp Virus (SVCV) in fish

$210 per test.”.
