(Ministerial Responsibility) (Amendment No. 12)
Notification 2024
In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 30 of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, the Prime Minister makes the following Notification:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Notification is the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Ministerial Responsibility) (Amendment No. 12) Notification 2024 and comes into operation on 16 January 2025.
Amendment of Eleventh Schedule
2.  In the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Ministerial Responsibility) Notification 2024 (G.N. No. S 470/2024), in the Eleventh Schedule, under the heading “Subjects”, in item 1, after paragraph (35), insert —
 
“(36) Parts 9, 9A and 10B of the Women’s Charter 1961 (jointly with the Minister responsible for social and family development), but not —
 
(a)the powers under sections 77 and 91A;
 
(b)the designation for the purposes of sub‑paragraph (b) of the definition of “designated credit bureau” in section 83(5);
 
(c)the authorisation for the purposes of section 91S(5)(a); and
 
(d)the powers under section 91N(4)
 
(37)The following under the Women’s Charter 1961:
 
(a)the powers under sections 77 and 91A;
 
(b)the designation for the purposes of sub‑paragraph (b) of the definition of “designated credit bureau” in section 83(5);
 
(c)the authorisation for the purposes of section 91S(5)(a)”.
Amendment of Fourteenth Schedule
3.  In the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Ministerial Responsibility) Notification 2024, in the Fourteenth Schedule, under the heading “Subjects” —
(a)in item 3(6), after “but not”, insert “Parts 9, 9A and 10B and”; and
(b)in item 3, after paragraph (6), insert —
 
“(7)Parts 9, 9A and 10B of the Women’s Charter 1961 (jointly with the Minister responsible for law), but not —
 
(a)the powers under sections 77 and 91A;
 
(b)the designation for the purposes of sub‑paragraph (b) of the definition of “designated credit bureau” in section 83(5);
 
(c)the authorisation for the purposes of section 91S(5)(a); and
 
(d)the powers under section 91N(4)
 
(8)The powers under section 91N(4) of the Women’s Charter 1961”.
