(Transparency and Effective Control)
(Amendment) Regulations 2020

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 84A of the Trustees Act, the Minister for Law makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Trustees (Transparency and Effective Control) (Amendment) Regulations 2020 and come into operation on 14 December 2020.

Amendment of regulation 8

2. Regulation 8(5) of the Trustees (Transparency and Effective Control) Regulations 2017 (G.N. No. S 151/2017) is amended by deleting paragraph (d) of the definition of “specified person” and substituting the following paragraphs:

“(d)	a regulated dealer as defined in section 2 of the Precious Stones and Precious Metals (Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing) Act 2019 (Act 7 of 2019);
(da)	a pawnbroker as defined in section 3(1) of the Pawnbrokers Act 2015 (Act 2 of 2015);”.
