(Chapter 7)
Animals and Birds (Exemption) Notification 2003
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 79 of the Animals and Birds Act, the Director-General, Agri-Food and Veterinary Services hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Animals and Birds (Exemption) Notification 2003 and shall come into operation on 10th December 2003.
Exemption
2.  The Director-General hereby exempts from section 8 of the Act any person who imports any fresh table hen egg —
(a)from any of the countries specified in the first column of the Schedule; and
(b)subject to the corresponding maximum amount specified in the second column.
Made this 1st day of December 2003.
