(Night at Orchard Market — Exemption)
Order 2019
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 66 of the Active Mobility Act 2017, the Minister for Transport makes the following Order:
Citation and period in force
1.—(1)  This Order is the Active Mobility (Night at Orchard Market — Exemption) Order 2019.
(2)  This Order is in force for the period starting at 7 a.m. on 5 July 2019 and ending at 11 p.m. on 7 July 2019.
Definitions
2.  In this Order —
“Night at Orchard Market” means the event organised by Orchard Road Business Association (UEN S99SS0041D) and held at the specified footpath from 5 July 2019 to 7 July 2019 (both dates inclusive);
“specified footpath” means the part of the footpath between Orchard Road and Ngee Ann City that is delineated by the red‑coloured line in the map set out in the Schedule;
“specified vehicle” means a vehicle bearing any of the following vehicle registration numbers:
(a)YN6655B;
(b)YN6511H.
Exemption for driver of specified vehicle
3.  Section 16(1)(b) of the Act does not apply to an individual driving a specified vehicle on the specified footpath during and in connection with the Night at Orchard Market.
